Jorn Lendorph is a Danish soul-pop singer with a versatile career that began as a young member of The Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir. Early on, he made his mark with a role in the TV series Alle elsker Debbie, where he wrote the score and title song together with Jeppe Kaas. He also performed it. This collaboration continued with the movie En afgrund af Frihed (An Abyss of Freedom), in which they both had roles. They also wrote the song 'Endelig blev det sommer' and performed it in the movie together with Anne Herdorf and Christine Skou.
In 1996, Jorn launched his solo album, Loosen Up, Produced by Chief One. co-produced by himself and Ole Kibsgaard . The album's groovy, melodic tracks earned international success, including the hit 'Back to My Baby', which topped charts in Norway. His musical journey expanded further as he composed music for the albums 'Dejlig er Haven' and lent his voice to OPS - Perker for altid and the Danish versions of Walt Disney's Beauty and the Beast duet 'Det er ganske vist,' 'American Dragon,' and 'Weekenders,' as well as the title song for the movie 'Freddy the Frog.'
In 2006 JORN released the house single 'Saturday.' A low slung groove track with a smooth jazz 70's feel. The track was later used in the Danish film 'Kandidaten' (The Candidate).
Jorn’s work behind the scenes is just as extensive; he has produced The debut album 'Sanne Graulund - Better Get some Dreams' together with Jimmy Anthony. The debut hip hop album 'Ibo - Tilbage igen' together with Elton Theander, the soundtracks for the film 'The Eighteenth,' and the title song for the film 'Julefrokosten.' As a vocal producer, he’s contributed to 'Rasmus Klump og hans Venner' and the vocal group Vocaloca.
He is a familiar voice across TV-shows and film soundtracks such as 'Hjælp! jeg er en fisk,' 'Elsker dig for evigt,' 'Hånden på hjertet,' and he was the singing voice of Anders W. Berthelsen in The TV series 'Hjertafdelingen.'
He’s also done backing vocals for artists such as Lisa Nielsson, Johnny Logan, Mariah Carey, Bombay Rockers, Nana Mouskouri, One Two, Det Brune Punktum, Jonatha Brooke, Karen and Szhirley, and many more.
In 2022, Jorn co-authored a children’s book, 'Vaksemadder & Røvballegardiner,' together with designer Liselotte Riséll, and wrote an accompanying song, continuing his dedication to diverse creative projects.
